When to consider a tempo traveller
Before choosing a group vehicle, verify the exact seating, luggage arrangements and access to each hotel. A larger vehicle may not suit the final approach to every property or all sightseeing roads, so ask about transfers for those sections.
Route suitability matters.
Not offered as a default option for North Sikkim, Tsomgo or Nathula; route approval is required.
For protected-area trips, review the permit and access guide and ask which vehicle will operate each leg. A vehicle name alone is not proof of access permission.
How much will the cab cost?
Use the route fare directory for a per-vehicle planning range. The directory groups small cars and SUV/MUVs; it does not promise a specific model at the lower end. For Tempo Traveller, request a model-specific written total.
